Pheasant Wild Rice Soup

Yields1 Serving

 1 cup Uncooked wild rice
 9 Slices of bacon
 1 Medium onion
 2 Cans cream of potato soup
 1 pt half and half or substitute half milk and half cream
 1 lb American cheese grated
 2 Pheasant breasts cooked and cubed
 1 32oz chicken broth

Brown bacon with onion and drain grease.

Cook pheasant cubes.

Mix all ingredients, and then let simmer for approximately one hour stirring often to prevent burning on the bottom.

Add pepper to taste.
